Everyone enjoyed food and fun without plastic trash at PASUP’s 2024 Plastic-Free Picnic, so let’s do it again! This event is free and welcoming to all; bring your family, friends, and neighbors!

Bring food to share as we fight the tide of plastic trash! Challenge yourself to buy, prepare, and serve food without any single-use plastic (SUP)…or avoid as much as you can and bring the scraps with you. New this year: a PRIZE for the lowest-SUP food! (Please list all ingredients in your food to protect those with allergies.)

We’ll have plastic-free, non-alcoholic cold drinks. Please bring your washable dishes and utensils.

Of course we’ll have: 

  • Vendors offering alternatives to plastic
  • A chance to meet and learn about local groups working to make our world less plastic
  • Games and activities
  • Interesting folks to meet
  • Giant bubbles!!

New this year is a clothing swap: SHOP FOR FREE, no need to bring anything (but if you do, one bag per person, please). Save money and our environment by avoiding the SUP and other resources used in making and packaging new clothes.
